Therapy for Religious Questioning in Draper

This might be one of the hardest things you’ve never said out loud.

For many of us, questioning what we were raised to believe is harder to talk about that almost anything else. Even, and especially with the people who know us the best. Our partner. Our parents. Our Families. Our closest friends. The people who have been there our whole life.

In Utah, religion rarely stays contained to one part of your life. Wherever your personal beliefs land, the realities of family, baptisms, funerals, holidays and traditions and relationships formed inside a shared worldview will largely remain woven into fabric of daily life.

How the next part of your story unfolds, the pacing and the content, will be deeply individual and personal to you.

I’d feel honored to be a part of your process.

Discomfort. Ambivalence. Guilty disinterest. Anger, for some. Having left and still working out what that means. Having decided to stay and reshaping your approach. All of it.

I'm especially here for the middle. Not fully out, not fully in. Tired of the people who've left wanting to talk you through all the reasons they left, and tired of the people who've stayed making you feel like you'll have to explain yourself or find words you don't have yet.

It's okay to be where you are. You shouldn't have to justify what feels meaningful to you, spiritually or otherwise, to anyone. What your neighbor thinks, what your mom thinks, what your friends think, none of that is what matters here. You're the one who has to sit in the meaning of your life, and feel it, or feel its absence. You're the one who gets to decide what you do with that.
